WinWall vs MS Wallpaper CHanger ??

Postby bluecoal » Tue Oct 21, 2008 7:51 am

Hi all,

I just got curious to see if there was a way to change desktop images other than using a screen saver program.

Searching I found Temerc's review on WinWall. I also found reference to MS powertoys and a wall paper changer program there. This is a work machine - MS would probably be a more defendable option if I get questioned on the program.

Comments for me about which would be better and why?

thanks
bluecoal.

While at the time of that review, WinWall was nice, I've since found a better freeware wallpaper changer, Wallpaper MAster.

It has more features and I switched to it. I've not come across an MS wallpaper changer, do you have a link to it?

These are articles that I found talking about two different MS related approaches:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/usin ... ertoy.mspx

That's a pretty nice little app there, and I like the setting to have a specific image on specific days.

Granted I don't much spend all that much time looking at my desktop, but kewl non the less, thanks for sharing that find with us.
