PDF viewer/reader

Postby grits » Fri Jul 02, 2010 1:02 pm

Is there a difference or is it just a case of word choice?

Anyway, can someone recommend something very simple & basic? I switched from Adobe to Foxit
quite some time back & now I've uninstalled Foxit because I had problems trying to understand their updating process. I really am an airhead. I just need one to be able to read the pdf's that I already have on my computer & was at a site earlier today that had some info I wanted to read but it's only available as pdf.

Thank you.

There is a few about and listed on Wikipedia Foxit seems to be the next best to Abode but I have not tried it or any others. Contrary to the Abode issues, I stuck with it and will take my chances. So far I have not had any problems. May be luck, may be due to vigilance ;)

PDF XChange Viewer works for me. It's small, compact and once set as your default viewer, comes up when you click a pdf file (no need to have it sitting on your desktop, or clicking from your program listing), Mindblower!
