Hi,

a delightful email popped by telling me that
Your FSpamlist.com account is now active.

Which is good news :P

Can I remember what my login details, etc. are for it ? Nope. Can I find any trace of it on my email system ? Nope.

Heck, it's been hectic !!

A couple to make you smile ...

1) We had someone appeal to have an I.P. ban overturned who had been banned by the bot on registration. So, of course we checked up ...

Errrrmmm.. I sent a nice email back to them - dead polite, but the answer was no. The fact that English was not one of thier best languages did make us wonder why they would want access to the forum !!

Oh, and number 2 ?

Well, that's on the forum that they tried to log onto - It made me smile, I hope it does you guyz and galz, when you're having a 'bad code' day

Don't worry, it's just a screen shot.

hehe nice one :)

The e-mail being late is my fault I'm afraid. I had to re-build the networks SMTP server a few days or so ago, and moved it to it's own dedicated server - then forgot to change the fSpamlist server config so it knew where it had moved to :(

If you want a 'nice' mail server ... http://flurdy.com/docs/postfix/ I'm trialling 10.04 (next LTS of Ubuntu for servers, so am awaiting to have a 'play' with his 10.04 Mail Server) - His current one is pretty awesome, but he's adding in some pretty kewl stuff for 10.04 :D

A good man, doing good work (the anti spam engine and anti viral engine integration is excellent). I do hope it meets with your technical approval.

Regards,

Phill.
