From the Avatar thread...

In that avatar thread that got closed, Tom said:

You can however, click the lil page icon, next to each topic title:

And by doing so, it will bring you to the first unread thread, so maybe that will offset the annoyance.

The only problem with that is that if the thread is more than one page long, it takes you back to the second-most-recent page. This is the only real annoyance I have with the most-recent-post-at-the-top deal. :)

Also Jean, you don't have to hold down Ctrl along with "end" and "home" to get to the top/bottom of the page, just the end/home key by themselves do it fine (EDIT: works both for FF and IE). :)

I haven't tested in IE but it most certainly does not work in FF. I doubt it would be any different with IE.....I think it has more to do with the keyboard.

Hmmm... seems to work fine for me in IE and FF, on every computer I've ever used. :? I wouldn't think it would have anything to do with the keyboard... something to look into anyway. Maybe it has something to do with an extension you're using?

Thanks for the tip Munch. I've always used CTRL-HOME or CTRL-END. I found out your shortcut works on my PC. I'm running FF. Haven't tried it in IE.
