Some bugs-Steven, when you've time, since last update

Postby TeMerc » Thu Dec 17, 2009 12:48 am

1- When you click the 'View active topics' button, for me at least, I only get a few if that. Previously I'd get at least a page worth. ?>!

2- Bunch of 'custom' emotes are gone. d!

Not so much custom, just ones I've borrowed from here and there. >><

3- Errr....I know there was one more dammit......it'll come to me. ((O

hehe the emoticons should still be there (on the server that is), but will need put back via the ACP into the DB.

I've not yet identified the cause of the view active topics issue :(

The missing emoticons in phpBB 3.0.6 was due to a new pagination system for them in this new version. All old templates were broken by this. myslvd

The fix is a template edit.

Try replacing code in posting_smilies.html in /styles/<template name>/template/ with this...

Code: Select all

{L_SMILIES}

{PAGINATION}

{L_CLOSE_WINDOW}

I was actually going to just customize one of the new templates, but cheers, I'll replace it once my upload is complete :)

Well yes, except they take up 3 'pages'? they used to be all on one, but if that's the way it needs to be onw, that's fine.

Thanks! wrshp

The 3 pages is the "pagination" they added.

Ain't it wonderful?
Just like having cockleburs shoved up the excretory orifice... grgr

Well that's rather annoying. kilstb

Is there a coding reason for that? the other way was so much more convenient.

No way I've seen to increase the smilies available per page. Guess some hosts with low bandwidth, or users with slow machines were pitching a fit.
