BLD (Bob's Little Ditty)

Postby MysteryFCM » Sat Dec 13, 2008 7:11 pm

Could've sworn I'd already posted this here, but apparently not ...... so here ya go.

BLD was written at the request of my friend Bob (McKenzie - WebGrid) in 2006, to perform two basic functions when the app was launched;

1. Kill user chosen processes
2. Launch user chosen processes/files

Since then I've updated it to include new facilities, fixed a couple errors, and modified/improved some of the existing features.

Once the settings are configured, you can access the app without performing the actions set, by clicking on the "Config" shortcut that (should be*) is automatically created.

* "Should be" because it's only been tested on XP and 2000.

I'm planning to eventually have it function as a fully fledged process guard/monitor, along with the features already in there, but could use some opinions/suggestions

John,
I'm planning on updating and releasing this later and just wondered what your thoughts were?
