skins and other things. This is probably the largest MS based site available on the net, aside from MS itself. Lots of great sections, to fine tune your pc, trouble shoot and lots more. Good site with tons of XP tips tweaks,
all downloadable or available on a CD. Very large database. Certified MS
MVP. Many of the reg fixes have been used in countless forums fixing up
users task bars, control panels, run command and loads of other things.

The Windows Experience Index measures the capability of your computer's hardware and software configuration and expresses this measurement as a number called a base score. A higher base score generally means that your computer will perform better and faster than a computer with a lower base score, especially when performing more advanced and resource-intensive tasks.

Paul Thurrotte could very well be one of the foremost knowledgeable people about nearly all Windows versions. Advanced info on upcoming versions, options and other related software always great info and insight. He's reviewed all sorts of Windows applications and can always be counted on being forthcoming in his opinions. Ed is yet another well respected Windows reviewer and writer. He's written several books on Windows versions the latest being 'Windows Vista:Inside & Out'. He was an editor at PC World and has a very popular blog on ZDNET as linked above. You can find his main site here This forum is a collection of specified topics all related only to Vista. They have every topic imaginable and link to many news groups as well. The tutorials linked to above are well done and informative, a must fav for any Vista user. All the great formatting and presentation with the same excellent graphics as the XP page I listed to above. |
